I was lucky enough to be asked by Karlene and Drew to join them on their first visit to Sydney to photograph their elopement. Just two days before Christmas it marked my last wedding of 2011 so I figured I should share some images to celebrate the end of a great year. Thanks to all the couples who have put their faith in my work and allowed me into their lives during an important time… it’s been fun!

Awesome shot
What a fabulous shot! Very indicative of the times too…
Melinda and Vasna’s wedding was somewhat unusual in that no vows were exchanged on the day, rather, 300 family and friends gathered for a celebration that started in a tea ceremony and ended in food, food and more food! Mmmm, come to think of it I could do with some more food right now. Mental note, don’t blog at dinner time.

Mary Ord - Hi Sam, a convoluted way to see your shots (through karlene’s Facebook page) but they are great, doesn’t the city look amazing. It was a really great day, in our circle of love it was really moving and charged with intense emotion. You have really captured some glorious moments.
